Stop the Century Blvd Extension Project!

How to Testify

Hillsboro City Council

Meetings:  the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7pm. You can attend in person or online.

Location: Hillsboro Civic Center, 150 E. Main Street

Testimony sign up: To provide testimony, sign up online before 5:00 PM on meeting days or arrive early to register at the door.

Time limit: Each speaker is allotted 3 minutes.

Washington County Board of Commissioners

Meetings: the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 10am, and the 4th Tuesday at 6:30pm. They only have public comment available at their 4th Tuesday meeting.

Location: Charles D. Cameron Public Services Building, Auditorium
155 North First Avenue, Suite 300, MS 21 

Testimony sign up: Residents can submit written testimony via the county portal or speak in person during public hearings. 

Time limit: Each speaker is allotted 3 minutes at the beginning of the meeting and 5 minutes at the end of the meeting.

Immediate action is required to halt the current design phase until a comprehensive traffic safety study, independent of the county engineer, is conducted and shared with the public.
